Suspending trading of 24 companies

The Egyptian Stock Exchange announced the suspension of trading on 24 stocks for a period of 10 minutes, as they exceeded the 5%, up or down, during the trading session today, Wednesday, and they are; Raya Holding for Financial Investments, Egyptian Arab (Themar) for Securities Trading, Delta Printing and Packaging, Prime Holding for Financial Investments, El Obour Real Estate Investment, Kafr El Zayat for Pesticides and Chemicals, Memphis for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries, Nile Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries - Nile, Acrow Misr for Formwork and Metal Scaffolding, Wadi Kom Ombo for Land Reclamation, Arab Land Reclamation, General Land Reclamation, Development and Reconstruction, Nozha International Hospital, Alexandria National Financial Investments, North Cairo Mills and Bakeries, Arab Investment Forum, North Upper Egypt Development and Agricultural Production - NUODAB, medical packages, Al Shorouk Modern Printing and Packaging, Speed ​​Medical, Arab Ceramics-Ceramica Remas, Al-Orouba for Stockbroking, Egyptian Tora Portland Cement, GlaxoSmithKline.

 

The stock exchange is losing 744 million pounds

The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended the trading session today, Wednesday, with a collective decline in the indices, except for a marginal rise in the EGX 70 index, amid local and Arab sales, and the market capital lost 744 million pounds, to close at 707.381 billion pounds.

 

The volume of shares traded reached 611.5 million securities, worth 1.7 billion pounds, through the implementation of 55.1 thousand transactions for 195 companies, and Egyptian transactions recorded 81.3% of the total transactions, while foreigners accounted for 12.29%, and Arabs 6.41% during today's trading session. Institutions account for 24.83% of the transactions on the stock exchange, and the rest of the transactions were for individuals with 75.16%.

  

The net transactions of Arab and foreign individuals and Egyptian and Arab institutions tended for sale at a value of LE 7.2 million, 890.3 thousand pounds, 97.1 million pounds, and 21.7 million pounds, respectively, while the net transactions of Egyptian individuals and foreign institutions tended to buy at a value of 39.2 million pounds and 87.7 million pounds, respectively. .

 

The EGX 30 index declined by 0.16% to close at 11619 points, the EGX50 index fell by 0.39% to close at 2409 points, and the EGX30 index of weights decreased by 0.32% to close at 14190 points. The EGX 30 overall return index fell by 0.03%, to close at 4464 points.

 

The index of small and medium companies, "EGX 70 is equal weights", rose 0.1% to close at 2417 points, and the EGX 100 index of equal weights decreased by 0.03% to close at 3447 points, and the Nile Stock Exchange index increased by 0.63% to close at the level of 1117 points.

 

Shares of 75 companies listed on the stock exchange rose at the close of trading, and the shares of 92 companies declined, and the levels of 28 companies did not change.

 

The rising shares included:

 

Raya Holding for Financial Investments at a closing price of 27,070 pounds, an increase of 10%.

 

Glaxo Smithkline at a closing price of 31,140 pounds, an increase of 10%.

 

- Obour Real Estate Investment at a closing price of 16,040 pounds, an increase of 9.86%.

 

Al-Orouba Securities Brokerage at a closing price of EGP 0.790, an increase of 9.72%.

 

Delta Printing and Packaging closed EGP 26,200, an increase of 9.35%.

 

The declining shares included:


Alexandria National Financial Investments closing price of 6,690 pounds, a decrease of 9.96%.

 

Nozha International Hospital at a closing price of 51,140 pounds, a decrease of 5.78%.

 

Egyptian Tora Portland Cement, at a closing price of 6,770 pounds, a decrease of 5.71%.

 

Alexandria Spinning and Weaving (Spinalex) at a closing price of 2,166 pounds, a decrease of 4.54%.

 

Al-Nasr for Clothes and Textiles-Kabo, at a closing price of 1.541 pounds, a decrease of 3.69%.
