The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action project, "Masam to clear Yemeni lands of mines," announced the removal of 1,428 mines, which were planted by the Houthi militia in various governorates during the fourth week of last February.
According to the official website of the Yemeni army (Septembernet), the project stated that these mines varied between 21 anti-personnel mines, 391 anti-tank mines, 1,015 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device.
He explained that the total of 220,352 mines removed since the beginning of the project have so far reached 220,352, which the Houthi militia have planted in lands, schools and homes, targeting the lives of innocent civilians.
